At lunchtime today, while I wasn’t looking, a can of coconut cream dropped from my shopping cart onto my poor, unsuspecting left big toe. Right smack on the joint. (Continue)
Mike: “Ang bilis mo, ah! Naka-100 ka kanina!”
Me: “Of course not! 60 lang ako! I know kasi tingin nga ako ng tingin sa speedometer dahil inip na inip ako dun sa sinusundan kong van na naka-hazard lights pa!”
(Here’s the rest.)
In your life, you’ll make note of a lot of people. Ones with whom you shared something special, ones who will always mean something. There’s the one you first kissed, the one you first loved, the one you lost your virginity to, the one you put on a pedestal, the one you’re with… and the one that got away. (More)
Yesterday the doc said I am still at 2 cms but the cervix’s more effaced than last week’s. I have been advised to lie low some more to make it to my 37th week (which is this Saturday), and then after that, puede na (magpaka-ngarag.. hahahaha)
Jenn A tagged me, so here goes a breather..
For a long while I inhibited myself from writing to my son Jam’s school. I turned a blind eye to the MANY things that irked me, realizing that even if I wrote them a million letters, they would go about things their way. Since, sino ba naman ako?
Yet, last week of classes na nga lang, but they still give me something to rant about. Hindi ko na kaya! I gotta do something!
It’s 1:30 am, your baby sits on your bladder and you feel the need to get up and pee. It wouldn’t have been a problem weren’t you pregnant, but as all preggers know, when you’re pregnant and get up from slumber it’s pretty hard going back to bed.
So what do you do? You boot up, log-in and blog. Posts in your drafts folder get published, and you find the time to write down thoughts.
You realize your hormone-induced insomnia actually does your long sleeping blogs some good.
Last week after an appointment at the Chinese embassy I went shopping for baby things in preparation for my impending delivery. If history repeats, I would be delivering in 4 weeks. I thought it’s about time I have the baby’s things ready and my maternity bag packed. (more)
My blogging’s rested for ages, life got in the way. How were the holidays for you? I hope it was colorful, memorable, blessed and inspirational.

She can feel you
Drifting far away
But she can’t see through
What you do not say
Take a step back
Don’t lose your ground
Remember how you felt before
And if you care about her
Show her that you’re sure
If I were you
My prized possessions
Would be the ones I’d hold so close
‘Cause when you lose your love
You lose what means the most
If I were you I’d hold affection
Higher than any star in sight
Take this to heart
And you’ll never part
These are the things that I would do
If I were you
Simple pleasures
The hardest to be found
Can’t be measured
‘Till they’re not around
Maybe she’ll go
Maybe she’ll stay
But she’d rather go
than fade away
Sometimes the sweetest sorrow
Is the saddest fate
If I were you
My prized possessions
Would be the ones I’d hold so close
‘Cause when you lose your love
You lose what means the most
If I were you I’d hold affection
Higher than any star in sight
Take this to heart
And you’ll never part
These are the things that I would do
If I were you
Take a step back
Don’t lose your ground
Remember how you felt before
And if you care about her
Show her that you’re sure
If I were you I’d hold affection
Higher than any star in sight
Take this to heart
And you’ll never part
These are the things that I would do
If I were you
Take this to heart
You’ll never part
These are the things that I would do
If I were you

My foodblog Kitchen Conjugations sports a new look, thanks to a free blogger template I found while skimming around the net one sleepless night, and some help from my bro Minx who helped tweak some bugs in the template. I have posted some new recipes, Quail Egg Surprise, Sinuglaw na Bariles, Sweet-Spicy Inihaw na Pusit, and Spicy New Zealand Mussels, and gushed about St. Dalfour Wild Blueberry Spread. See them here.
